Episode 6 - Church Support

This week your family will GET INTO Hebrews 11:6. You’ll be reminded that to PLEASE God you need to BELIEVE He exists and REWARDS those who SEEK Him.

So, gather your family, stream the video, and … GET INTO IT.

After the video remind your family that you’ll be TALKING IT UP this week and then you’ll ACT IT OUT together. You’ll find ways you can PLEASE God as you consider why you BELIEVE in Him. You’ll SEEK Him and celebrate the REWARDS God has brought into your life.

As you TALK IT UP this week, keep track of ideas your family has for how to ACT OUT the truths of Hebrews 11:6. And TALK IT UPWARDS by praying together. Tell God what you BELIEVE about Him. Ask Him to plant His Word deeply in your hearts as you ACT IT OUT as a family.

Here are 5 quick questions to help you launch fun family talks about Hebrews 11:6.

DAY 1

What are ways to PLEASE God? See if your family can think of at least 10 ways.

DAY 2

What makes it easy to BELIEVE in God? What are things that can make it challenging to BELIEVE in God?

DAY 3

Quick! List 5 REWARDS that come with BELIEVING in God. Which REWARDS are you already getting, and which haven’t you received yet?

DAY 4

Tell about a time you went SEEKING something and it took real effort to find it. Was it worth it? Why or why not?

DAY 5

Actors are REWARDED with applause for doing a good job. Take turns telling each family member something they’ve done well and then give that person a standing ovation! Then have each family member tell God something He’s done well and give God a standing ovation!

This week TALK UP the keywords from Hebrews 11:6. But keep it simple—just pick one word per day!

Collect your family’s ideas for ways to PLEASE God. As a family, pick 1—or more!—of those ideas and ACT IT OUT. Remember to thank God for His love for your family. Thanking God is one way to PLEASE Him!
